i’m hayley
graphic designer, illustrator, zinester, yosakoi dancer, ku design alumni
Born and raised in KC; Hayley (she/they) attended the University of Kansas and recieved her BFA in Visual Communication Design in 2024. She is passionate about design; including branding/identity, publication, analog process, printmaking, and accessibility in design. Throughout her time at KU; she acted as the programming chair of KU AIGA Prototype.
When Hayley is not designing she is the co-director of her Yosakoi Japanese Festival Dance group; where she has been serving as an official Kochi ambassador since 2018. Hayley has also been a part of the Kansas City Zine Con organizing team since 2022– an organization that plans and coordinates a multiday indie publication event for the KC metro. To enrich Hayley’s love of craft and the analog: She also designs and creates prints, zines, stationery and giftables that she sells at art markets and pop ups accross Kansas and Missouri.
